Spokesman Scott Murray said: “Unfortunately there were technical issues getting the form from the PA, so we were unable to go through the entries. Everything should be sorted by Friday, but the races have filled so they are closed to entries.”

The opens for the St Leger final of Williamhill.com and even the races were all very important. And what happened made plenty of greyhound racing enthusiasts unhappy. There were those that were regarded as likely to happen. But one was not carried out. And it was not, for a reason that must be also valid. The races were not finalized with the technical issues also getting in the way. And it must be also acceptable. The details of the races were not done because of these issues that cannot be solved instantly.

It was not good that the opens for the St Leger final of Williamhill.com closed Thursday noon but the races were not finalized. But it was one happening that must be also accepted by the greyhound racing fans. It was one occurrence that was also not expected to happen but it did. There was nothing else that can be done but to also take it positively if possible. Well, may there be no other similar event to happen. But if there will be one, there will be no other choice but to deal with it well so not to be in trouble too.

Cahill said: “There’s definitely one broken, and possibly two, taking everything into account, the injury and his age, you’d have to say it’s touch-and-go whether he’ll race again. We need the swelling to go down a little bit before we can be certain about the extent of the damage, but he’ll definitely need an operation and the absolute best-case scenario would be him needing three months off. That’s going to take him to around his fourth birthday so we have to be realistic; if he was a younger dog I’d be fairly confident of getting him back to the track but time is against him.”

Supporters were all truly saddened with the revelation of Cahill. Yes, their favorite racing greyhound picked up an injury at Wimbledon on a Tuesday confirmed to be a broken metacarpal. And because of the injury, they might not see him race for a while. It was said by the trainer that he might also become incapable of racing permanently because of his age. But hopefully, he will still make it.

Well, supporters of Jimmy Lollie should really hope for the best for their favorite racing greyhound. May he recover soon and be back to racing. May he be blessed with great strength so to overcome the challenge and be well again for all of his wonderful supporters. Of course, nothing is impossible. He might just recover soon and return to the tracks. Anything can still happen. Thus, supporters should still wish for the best for him and believe. They might just see him again fit and just racing wonderfully.

Macari said: “I was delighted with him, I really couldn’t have asked for anything better. He didn’t leave a yard on the track, stuck to the rails all the way round and has done a great time considering it was his first four-bend trial of the year. I was going to bring both him and Mill Pinpoint back next week for another trial, but Pinpoint just seemed a little flat after his sprint today (16.55sec) so I’m not sure he’ll be making the journey.”

Most likely, even the supporters of Bling Bling were also moved by the greyhound. They were also thrilled with how he did recently. It only showed that he really must be the greyhound to go for. They have really proven that they have been supporting just the right greyhound.

Well, we just wish that Bling Bling will continue to thrill Macari and everyone else. We simply hope that he will go on moving all who have been there for him. But for sure he will make it also with help of everyone. Of course, Macari will prepare him for the races and his supporters will just go on extending to him the vital support needed for him to succeed. For sure he will be good also with help of his trainer and everyone else. Surely, he will be fine with him having everything needed for him to be.

Too bad, Rayvin Giovanni was the joint favorite for the Derby next year and he won’t be making it to the huge event because of the two fractures he had after having horrible fall in an event at Wimbledon on a Tuesday. Cahill confirmed that they all decided to let him retire because of the two fractures which can actually be found in the greyhound’s front leg.

Cahill said: “He’s finished. He’s got two fractures in a front leg.”

Well, supporters of Rayvin Giovanni were surprised with the confirmation of the trainer on the greyhound finally retiring because of the two fractures he earned after having horrible fall in an open on the Leger final card at Wimbledon on a Tuesday. They did not even think of the greyhound taking a break from racing for too long. They did not think that the fractures would make him be outside the tracks for very long. Thus, they were shocked that he needed to retire because of the fractures he had after such horrible fall.

But supporters of Rayvin Giovanni must have tried to just accept what happened. It must be hard for them but they must be wise enough to know that they can’t do anything else with what happened but just learn to accept it. Unfortunately, the great greyhound badly needed to retire.

Barefoot Bullet beaten fellow Tranquil Time at Wimbledon by almost four lengths. He recorded brilliant time of 28.51s. And he just really pleased the Irish-based trainer.

In a certain interview after delivering an upbeat bulletin on the performances of the two at Wimbledon the trainer actually said that, “They arrived back home at 7.30 this morning, and have taken their trip well. Barefoot Bullet is a very fast dog. He was impressive in a trial at Shawfield before the Scottish Derby, but then things went wrong next time and we had to bring him back. The Wimbledon trial was his first run since.”

Hills then decided to cut Barefoot Bullet’s Derby odds from 66 to 40-1. However, the trainer also expressed his faith on Tranquil Time, on what the Derby contender is indeed capable of doing at Wimbledon.

The Irish-based trainer actually said during the interview that, “Tranquil Time will trial again on Wednesday. He’s a nice dog, and should improve for last night’s spin.”

The trainer seemed to be confident about the potential of both his Derby contenders. For him, both have good chances on a great track win. But he must have felt as well that there is actually need to still work on the two, Barefoot Bullet and Tranquil Time. There are still some things that must be improved as far as the two are concerned and Hennessy must have felt this. The two could just become better Derby contenders with the attention of the Irish-based trainer. They could just have better chances on great track win of course.

Ballymac William actually accomplished a 28.68s spin at more than 480 meters at Wimbledon. And at the end of April, because of the commendable accomplishment, he is indeed now likely to have his place in the much-awaited, most prestigious williamhill.com Derby.

Just like most of us, the famous greyhound took some time to rest during the Christmas season. He actually had several months to rest and he spent them with breeders Ian and Brenda Seymour. But now he is back to continue running in the tracks, to continue giving everyone into greyhound racing and betting the fun and excitement that only good races can bring.

Wallis said just few days ago, “he came back to Imperial Kennels just before Christmas and looks particularly well. It’s lovely to have him back. Obviously, with the weather as bad as it is at present, there’s not much we can do with him.”

After few months of rest, though Kinda Ready seems really back in form, he still needs to go through preparation. At Wimbledon, he will be facing some of the best greyhounds and he will actually have to beat all of them to be able to keep his crown. For sure even him, he would want to, he is indeed a smart greyhound.

But of course, they are still some months away from the competition at Wimbledon. Kinda Ready and trainer Wallis still have ample of time to prepare. Hopefully the weather gets better soon so the two can finally start working on some things out. Kinda Ready just came back from vacation and he might be in form because of getting some rest but might still need to stretch out his legs to be able to make good leaps at Wimbledon this coming summer.

Night of Tuesday, Morris was represented for the last time during the William Hill Oaks final. Thus proving he will really retire from the pitches he has really cared for. That night was truly his closing night at Crayford.

Father of Morris, Ike Morris, was the founder of the business. But then, his contributions to it were undoubtedly inconsiderable. He helped improved the pitch at Crayford 59 years ago when he was still a lad at age 13. While in Wimbledon, he stood right in front of all the works that need to be done 25 years ago, ending up being there when the White City closed.

Some have tried to get some words from Morris about his retirement from the pitches at Crayford and Wimbledon. But he said he deliberately don’t prefer to make afuss over what everyone will regard as a true end of an era and instead just explained that now it could be high time for him to retire and that he just wished both Crayford and Wimbledon tracks, all of his customers, and even greyhound owners and trainers all the best.

Now it is confirmed that Morris will be out the tracks. But of course, he will still continue to follow everything as long as about greyhound racing and tracks. Outside the tracks, he will still support every greyhound racing event and even will extend some help if necessary. He has been into greyhound racing for decades, he won’t ever forget it for sure.

Fear Zafonic, was first thought to be the one that will surely bring home the title however, things have changed and the chances now are likely to be on the Eclipse pride’s side.

One greyhound racing enthusiast and writer said, “had he won the Eclipse, it would have been his. But victory for Eye On The Storm has thrown it open. It’s also helped the likes of Midway Skipper and maybe even sprinter Jimmy Lollie to close the gap. They both won at Nottingham and are finishing the year very strongly”.

In a period of time, anything can really happen. Like with the most coveted Greyhound of the Year title that is believed to be meant for Fear Zafonic and now turned out to be for the magnificent Eclipse winner.

But of course, the year is about to end in weeks time. Anything can still really happen. Eye On The Storm may be triumphant on Oaks final night at the Wimbledon this coming December 15, but then may be not on the flip side. But one thing is sure, the result of the race will somehow have an impact on the outcome of the battle for the Greyhound of the Year title.

We are all greyhound racing enthusiasts, thus, let us keep our eyes open to every event that is still to happen before the year ends. One may just turn everything upside down. The Greyhound of the Year title is to be given to a certain greyhound soon.

Ellis is being worked out by Steve Race with the hopes of being ready for the William Hill All England Cup heats at the track just a week later. The greyhound was remembered having a broken metatarsal during summer and just recently having a bout of coughing and a strained hock. But despite everything that he has gone through, he was able to please trainer Race by having a time of 17.92sec (normal) in a 305m sprint trial before racing on Monday at Nottingham.

Race seemed really optimistic with regards to Ellis possible performance at Newcastle all because of what the greyhound has shown at Nottingham. The trainer actually said that, “it’s been a bit of a nightmare with him really”. And in addition, “and I’m probably a couple of weeks behind where I’d like to be. But I couldn’t have asked more from the Nottingham trial and hopefully he’ll carry that forward to Newcastle. Obviously he’s going to be a bit short of his best going into the competition, but I’ve got to get the runs into him because I want to go for the [Betfred] Eclipse at Nottingham after that”.

A greyhound racer may actually get injuries and illnesses at any time. Perfect example of which is the case of Ellis, the greyhound got broken metatarsal and then after a bout of coughing and a strained hock. But then a greyhound racer is expected to still come out a winner after sickness and Race’s greyhound didn’t fail to.
