Razdazl Zamba Will Be Sidelined For a Month

Razdazl Zamba was indeed the favorite to win Friday’s Coral Essex Vase heats at Romford. But then a lot of betting enthusiasts were surprised with what happened, the favorite was eliminated in fourth behind the talented Buzz Doc. Yes, he did not make it. He did not win the said event at Romford.

But aside from not winning Friday’s Coral Essex Vase heats at Romford, the racer also pulled a tricep muscle, which was worse for everyone expecting him to make it. And because of the accident, his trainer, Ricky Holloway, confirmed that he will be sidelined for may be a month. It was said that he will badly need to recover.

Holloway said: “I knew something had to be wrong after he led and was beaten – it just wasn’t his running at all. The main thing is the injury is nothing serious, and that will be him now until the New Year. He’s such an exciting dog and certainly the fastest I’ve put a lead on.”

Well, something like that can simply happen and there is nothing we can do with it. We all should deal with this reality with great understanding. Of course, it was hard for some to know that the greyhound will be sidelined for may be a month because of pulling a tricep muscle. They did expect he will win Friday’s Coral Essex Vase heats at Romford but he ended up losing, pulling a tricep muscle and being sidelined for may be a month. It was hard but they can’t do anything else but just accept everything. What they can only do is to accept that yes he did not make it, pulled a tricep muscle and so must stay on the sidelines for some time to recover. When he is once again in good form, he will be racing once again for sure.

Much to Expect at Romford

On Tuesday, the much awaited final at Romford will take place. And there’ll be much action to expect from the said event.

As everyone foresees, all eyes will be on Bubbly Totti who will surely try to win to enhance his claims to the Greyhound of the Year title. Most especially that now it is final, Bubbly Rambo, one of the closest rivals of Totti, won’t participate anymore on Tuesday, thus making things easier for Ted Soppitt’s dog.

Droopys Carvalho will most likely be flying again. John Mullins’ dog will likely put huge pressure on Totti if he gets an early favor. However, more or less, St Leger winner will be bearing down on him later part.

After getting an injury, Sherries Boy will be back in action at the Romford Final. Boy is now being trained by Tony Collett for Tommy Mills, a part-owner of Lenson Joker. Joker has been of the contenders for the Greyhound of the Year title. If Sherries Boy beats Totti, Joker can undeniably get greater chances for the top honour.

Aside from the well exposed greyhounds above, there are some other possible greyhounds, less exposed but also have great winning potential. Westmead Tina actually leads on this said greyhounds. She’s had a long spell off the card and is open to improvement. In Essex Vase semi, she ran a cracker however not lucky enough to make it.

Next in line is Thurlesburg Joker who is often compared to the likes of Lenson Joker and Boherna On Air. Thurlesburg Joker is seen to possibly win with just right effort.

Greyhound enthusiasts say that Bubbly Totti could only regain his total claim for the Greyhound of the Year title by playing and eventually making it in the Romford Puppy Cup. This is the only way for him to outright Boherna Best and Lenson Joker, his two closest rivals for the said title.
