The racing greyhounds also succeeded in the greyhound racing event. They made Terry Penny happy. Rewind, Clyde’s Angel, and even Penny’s Angel would just continue in other greyhound racing events. They would just continue to compete with determination and even succeed in these greyhound racing events. Strickland and Penny would also continue to help. They would just provide the right trainings. The racing greyhounds would also be truly ready. There would be challenges however they would also be successful in other greyhound racing events.

Penny said: “I’m very happy with the result – it makes up for not getting them into the Devonport Cup. Clyde’s Angel is the stronger of the two, so I thought that she would win, but for Penny’s Angel to run second makes it very special.”

I’m half hoping this dog can take the place of Thirteen Black that was retired to stud recently after suffering an injury. I took Thirteen Black to Launceston for a race but about 15 metres into the race he cracked a bone in his hock and while we were able to get it pinned successfully it spelled the end of his racing career.”

However, Wood was still able to train Thirteen Black and to really help him become a great racing greyhound. The trainer was still able to take care of him. It was challenging, however, it was important to learn to just accept that he had an injury and would not be able to participate in races again. He retired however would still be helpful. The trainer may also just start really training Three Tradies and may also just take his place in the future. He was also able to win a grade five event at Tattersall’s Park recently. He was also able to win other events at other racing venues before winning the grade five event.

Wood also wished that Thirteen Black would still be able to participate in races. However, the trainer just tried to accept that he had an injury and would not be able to be in races. Three Tradies would also be around and would just really try to take the place of the first-rate greyhound.
