GBGB then were indeed referring to the kennels of ESSEX Vase winning trainer Chris Cronin. The board learned that the kennels might be up for something like a possible infectious greyhound disease outbreak.

The greyhounds in Cronin’s kennels were really the ones to suffer the most from this action by GBGB. Those that supposedly have events after the board’s action was known were actually stopped from being at the said events.

Cronin felt bad about his kennels being quarantined. He knew, upon knowing GBDB’s action towards his kennels, that the board made wrong assessment which led to formulation of unreasonable action.

“I am taking legal advice concerning the allegations made with regards to civil proceedings against the GBGB, who appear to have taken unreasonable action in suspending my license without evidence to the contrary,” Cronin said.

An owner has intervened and made allegations in regards to Cronin’s kennels. Thus, the trainer will most likely take necessary action against GBGB’s order, and even financial damages action against the said allegations.

He seriously said, “I will also pursue a financial damages action in connection with allegations made by an owner within my kennel. As soon as I have received legal advice, I will make a full statement in connection with future proceedings I propose.”

Where will Cronin and GBGB be led to? This we don’t know. They may be led to reconciliation or they may be led to something else. Hopefully, we’ll know the answer for this soon.

As everyone foresees, all eyes will be on Bubbly Totti who will surely try to win to enhance his claims to the Greyhound of the Year title. Most especially that now it is final, Bubbly Rambo, one of the closest rivals of Totti, won’t participate anymore on Tuesday, thus making things easier for Ted Soppitt’s dog.

Droopys Carvalho will most likely be flying again. John Mullins’ dog will likely put huge pressure on Totti if he gets an early favor. However, more or less, St Leger winner will be bearing down on him later part.

After getting an injury, Sherries Boy will be back in action at the Romford Final. Boy is now being trained by Tony Collett for Tommy Mills, a part-owner of Lenson Joker. Joker has been of the contenders for the Greyhound of the Year title. If Sherries Boy beats Totti, Joker can undeniably get greater chances for the top honour.

Other Possible Winners

Aside from the well exposed greyhounds above, there are some other possible greyhounds, less exposed but also have great winning potential. Westmead Tina actually leads on this said greyhounds. She’s had a long spell off the card and is open to improvement. In Essex Vase semi, she ran a cracker however not lucky enough to make it.

Next in line is Thurlesburg Joker who is often compared to the likes of Lenson Joker and Boherna On Air. Thurlesburg Joker is seen to possibly win with just right effort.

Last night, Essex Vase continued with three semi-finals at Romford. Darell Williams really wondered if how effective Bubbly Totti will be around the challenging track.

Well, the St Leger winner had to work seriously on Friday before eventually coming through to win his first round heat. Trainer Ted Soppitt totally expects to improve his charge for his competitive look at the circuit.

Last night’s race 8.53 was believed to be run to suit him with three front runners ready to set the race up for a stronger finisher. However, many still doubted Totti for being effective at Romford. Some said, if he’s likely 1.6 or 1.7, many will take him on.

Up for a Match at Romford Puppy Cup Final

Many names could be mentioned in terms of greyhounds that are worth a bet. However, at the final game of Romford Puppy Cup, there could only be two names that will most likely be up for a match and that’s the names of Deanridge Ammo and Confident Kermit.

On Friday, Deanridge Amor by virtue of an inside draw has the potential to getting the nod. A repeat of his first round heat will make him lead however Confident Kermit was quicker in the semi-final and will be suited by the middle draw. On Friday, there’ll surely be much action to expect.

However, with the recent victory of Boherna Best, Bubbly Totti’s claim to the title is on great rocks. Thus, he needs to prove once again that he is the perfect aspirant for the said title. The win that Boherna Best have had experienced had put him in the hot seat for Greyhound of the Year title. Thus, urging Leger winner Bubbly Totti to re-enhance his own claims in the Essex Vase, which many critics believe should actually start at Romfort Circuit.

At the Romfort Circuit

Ted Soppitt, trainer of Bubbly Totti freely admitted prior before Romfort event that Totti would be running ‘out of his comfort zone’, certainly at a track that he has never competed at in the past, a track which he is not sure if he could beat.

Hence, for some critics of Totti, although Totti has reoriented himself due to Leger glory last month, they have still some doubts of his effectiveness around the tight Romford circuit prior the event. But of course for Ted Soppitt, he always have great faith on Totti.
