Melinda Finn’s young runner Winsome Gun appeared as the racer really worth backing when he won the $20,000-to-the-winner final of the Group 3 Laurie Healion Memorial Maiden of 515m at The Gardens on a Friday night. Finn’s runner once again delivered a very good performance which just made him still unbeatable.
As the hot $1.70 favorite, Winsome Gun started lively. He came out full of energy and then simply delivered a very nice run on the rails. He ended up as the winner of the Group 3 Laurie Healion Memorial Maiden final, significantly two lengths ahead of Vancouver Kiss that was actually second all throughout the race.
The Patrick Parrelli-trained Devine Nation was also good to have delivered just right performance. But the racer could have been better and could have not ended up only in third.
According to reports, the speedy winner indeed beautifully jumped out of box one and then just secured the lead from start to finish to win in a time of 29.50.
Winsome Gun has won all three of his starts. And as of the moment, he has a total of $21,450 in prize money.

Winsome Gun is still undefeated and perhaps will continue to be one for a long time. He is a brilliant racer. But then, anything can happen. Though he is that good, an accident may happen. But of course, we wish only good things to happen. May nothing unhelpful take place and may he continue to win at various racing tracks. May Finn’s young runner just continue to impress everyone with really good accomplishments.
