True Kihael Won K.S. Black & Co. Country Challenge Final

The classy sprinter True Kihael won K.S. Black & Co. Country Challenge Final of 520m and so brought home the biggest Country NSW greyhound racing prize, the $20,000-to-the-winner prize. True Kihael won the huge Wentworth Park event for Kim Hyde.

On a Friday night, the sprinter went out at Wentworth Park track as the hot $1.50 favorite and then just continued in the battle to have a one and three-quarter length victory ahead of Bellbird Park with the very consistent Tadmore Buckshot further four lengths away. Tadmore Buckshot became leader in point scoring throughout the series.

By the second sectional, Devine Ruler found the front and seemed to have secured the win. However by the home turn, Devine Ruler gave True Kihael the chance to secure the victory when he actually tiered on the straight. Devine Ruler ended up securing the 7th place.

While Bellbird Park started just right from box eight and continued to contend well. The greyhound secured one of the top three places of the race.

True Kihael now has a record of 25 wins out of 45 career starts. And the classy sprinter has more than $80,000 in prize money.

Of course, we wish True Kihael more victories. But then with how good the classy sprinter did in the K.S. Black & Co. Country Challenge Final of 520m, for sure just more to come.

True Kihael must be in good form to be able to do so well in the big Wentworth Park event and what must happen is that the sprinter continues to be in such form to have more victories. And it will only be possible with the help of Hyde. The sprinter will continue to be in good form with care of someone like Hyde. But surely the trainer will extend what’s needed.
