Three Tradies Taking Place of Thirteen Black

Leigh Wood insisted that Thirteen Black was a great racing greyhound just before having an injury. The trainer was unhappy because he would not be able to participate in races again. He had an injury and would not be able to compete again. He retired however would still have a significant role. Three Tradies would also be there and would be ready to take his place.

Wood said also as revealed by the reports: “Now that he has got some racing under his belt he looks like he might develop into a handy middle distance dog. I’m half hoping this dog can take the place of Thirteen Black that was retired to stud recently after suffering an injury. I took Thirteen Black to Launceston for a race but about 15 metres into the race he cracked a bone in his hock and while we were able to get it pinned successfully it spelled the end of his racing career.”

However, Wood was still able to train Thirteen Black and to really help him become a great racing greyhound. The trainer was still able to take care of him. It was challenging, however, it was important to learn to just accept that he had an injury and would not be able to participate in races again. He retired however would still be helpful. The trainer may also just start really training Three Tradies and may also just take his place in the future. He was also able to win a grade five event at Tattersall’s Park recently. He was also able to win other events at other racing venues before winning the grade five event.

Wood also wished that Thirteen Black would still be able to participate in races. However, the trainer just tried to accept that he had an injury and would not be able to be in races. Three Tradies would also be around and would just really try to take the place of the first-rate greyhound.
