The lady trainer Susan Gittus has been trying to rebuild the team in her kennel and in connection to this she had Tahiti recently. Now, it seems that the bitch is a good addition to the said team that she has been trying to rebuild. She really has the potential to become one of the stars.
Tahiti, a well bred bitch by Collide, is partly owned by Tony Lockett. And naturally now, she is being trained by Gittus.
In Hobart last week, Tahiti was actually able to impress a group of people with her performance during the Grade 5 event of over 461 meters. She made her way impressively to win in the said event.
According to reports, it was only her second start in the state however seemed really good. She probably have a bright future according to one report.
Fairly, Tahiti indeed started from box one while Pure Tiger that was the favorite then flew the lids from box three. The favorite tried to get the lead however with the inside alley aid, Gittus’ bitch booted through to get the lead to the first turn.
Tahiti was able to slip four lengths clear and hold on to beat the favorite Pure Tiger by one length and to also beat her other strong opponent Will Do Well by more than three lengths.
Tahiti really seems a good addition to Gittus’ team most especially if we consider what she showed recently. She really has the potential to become one of the stars. However, she has to go through proper training first so she could go a long way. She was only obtained by Gittus recently and most likely she still has no proper training. She needs it to really become one of the stars, and to truly become a good addition to Gittus’ team in her kennel.
