Sportsbet Also Helping Racing Industry

It was revealed that some bookmakers failed to help the racing industry. They failed to provide the funds that the racing industry also needed. However, Sportsbet wished to clarify that it was just important to help the racing industry and the bookmaker tried and even provided more than $50 million just to be able to really help. The racing industry also really helped in the past.

Matthew Tripp from Sportsbet said also as revealed by the reports: “Sportsbet has recognised for a long time the need for the company to make sizeable financial contributions to the racing and sporting events that we offer betting services on. In the past five years, Sportsbet has paid more than $50 million to the racing industry and sporting bodies in Australia.”

Sportsbet also considered it important to help the racing industry just like how the racing industry tried to help many bookmakers in the past. The bookmaker tried to provide the funds and really help the racing industry. Sportsbet would even continue to provide the funds. The racing industry would also be helpful. There were bookmakers that failed to help. There were bookmakers that failed to even try to help. However, the bookmaker just really tried and also managed to help the racing industry. Other bookmakers that failed may also try in the future. They may also think of how the racing industry helped them in the past.

Tripp, in addition, said: “We currently have agreements in place with the racing industry in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia to provide significant funding back to the industry which assists with helping to fund prizemoney, infrastructure and marketing of racing, and have similar agreements in place with numerous sporting bodies such as the AFL and NRL. Our offer of a similar arrangement with Racing NSW is still on the table.”
