After Blue Lorian’s success in the 2010 National Distance Championship at Angle Park on a Saturday night, another NSW racer has beaten some other good racers to be the ultimate racer in the 2010 National Sprint Championship. It was Smooth Fancy of Anthony Azzopardi which actually performed well to make it in the big greyhound racing event.
The Anthony Azzopardi-trained Smooth Fancy started to race in the 2010 National Sprint Championship indeed at $10. For some, it seemed then that the racer was forgotten by the bettors but at least managed to secure the lead to finish the winner in the huge greyhound racing event. Smooth Fancy defeated the favorite Cosmic Chief.
Arsonist started just right from box one and then went on quickly however eventually ended only as fifth placer. Pedrosa that had the early lead just ended as fourth placer, indeed two and a half lengths away from the ultimate racer.
Smooth Fancy is a November 2007 Black dog. He is by Collision from Flash Fancy. He is raced by Terry Kingcott and trained by Azzopardi. Currently, he has 26 starts and out of these has 13 wins and seven placings. He also has $96,040 earnings all for his connections.
Well, Kingcott and Azzopardi have been just so good taking care of Smooth Fancy and because of this the racer is now successful as a racer. To mention, NSW racer actually earned the AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month title for August 2010. They must be proud of how good they have been taking care of the racer. The racer was able to defeat Group 1 winner and last month’s AGRA greyhound of the month Blue Lorian for this month’s title. He also beaten group 3 winners Mr. Metz and Winsome Gun. And the racer was able to because of them.
