Yes, the speedy bitch Rock Pool was able to secure the victory in the big event the $35,000-to-the-winner Group 2 Schweppes WA Oaks of 530m at Cannington in WA. Fans of the bitch were so happy the previous Saturday after knowing the result of the huge event.
Well, the fans in a way expected that the victory will be secured by their bet. Rock Pool after being ideally drawn with box one can just simply win the said event. But of course, they considered as well the presence of other amazing greyhounds like I’m Hot Property and Odessa Shiraz that can make it quite hard for their favorite to secure the victory.
But then Rock Pool did not fail the fans for after coming out she rushed to make use of the rails to her advantage and then finish a length away from I’m Hot Property and then a further length from the fastest qualifier and race favorite Odessa Shiraz.
I’m Hot Property tried to also get the lead by the first turn. But then eventually Rock Pool managed to take the lead and just continued having it until the end of the race.
Rock Pool won on Saturday with a time of 30.49. It was her seventh win out of her 11 career starts.
Rock Pool is a daughter of Where’s Pedro from Will You Behave. We believe she is just one of the very talented greyhounds of today. And we believe as well that she will go a long way. She just needs to continue being a one speedy bitch.
The other huge greyhound event that took place on Saturday night was the Group 2 Bob Payne Winter Stakes. It was won by the very consistent Did I Entertain. The event was indeed also a much-anticipated back then.
