Retiring sprinter, High Earner, was indeed proclaimed as AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for March. The Queenslander who, according to owners-trainers and breeders David & Christine Robartson was set to retire because of the demand for his services at Stud, quite surprisingly won the title against the many others deserving of it as well.
But High Earner has been consistent at the top level for a long time. And recently, he made in the Perth Cup.
Just worth mentioning too that the sprinter arrived in the West with so much pride though he was fresh then from his fall in the Australian Cup final. And he actually started well, then ending the race with a great time of 29.93.
Well, High Earner did well. He was indeed drawn poorly in box five, but he managed to overcome the challenge. He went on brilliantly to win.
The Queenslander can be really considered just right for the title AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for March. March can be deemed as a month with less group races, but with the major group Perth Cup race. And High Earner had its mark on the said month and of course won such big race. He also made it to play in the Easter Egg final, also one of the events of the month.
He can really be just considered just right for AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for March title. While just better luck next time for other Group 1 & 2 winners Drill ‘Em, Auriga Fox, Our Toyman, and Bogie Brave.
High Earner is actually a Black dog whelped by Collision from outstanding dam line and brood bitch Double Guess in May 2007 and then bred by David & Christine Robartson.
The Queenslander has already raced 50 times. And he actually won for 26 times and won placings for 18 times. In total, High Earner earned $340,285 for his caretakers.
