Yes, Rellim Rosie leads the star studded list of runners that will surely run and contest for a place in the final of The Western District Sprint at Ballarat. The event will already be next week.
The final will be over 390 metres and it is indeed one of the richest sprint races when it comes to Victorian racing.
In heat five on the program, the present track and distance record holder at Ballarat, Rellim Rosie, has indeed drawn a befitting Box 3 draw.
The Ballarat star’s box draw is just right according to trainer Louise Allen. In fact, the trainer said, “she loves the rails and we are very happy with her box draw”.
In total, Rellim Rosie already have fifteen career victories. No doubt, this Louise Allen-trained greyhound is a one true performer.
Something that is also worth mentioning is that, Rellim Rosie already installed herself as the $2.90 pre post favourite for her heat, with her two wins and a third placing from her three starts at the track and distance beforehand.
“We have freshened her up for a tilt at this race. She’s a super quick chaser. If she can lead or be near them she should be hard to beat,” Allen said.
Bond’s daughter was able to record a win and two seconds at her last three race starts. However, for Rellim Rosie’s narrow losses at Traralgon and Warrnambool, there have actually been some excuses. She actually collapsed at Traralgon when after getting a lead in the race she had a fit. And she got a check at her next start at Warrnambool after also getting a lead in the race.
Will Rellim Rosie prove she deserves to get an early lead over the others? Is she really worth to head the others? Let us all find out next week.
