Yes, the Victorian middle distance star Nellie Noodles won AGRA’s Run of the Month for April 2010. Well, it should just be given to her as to date, in only nine starts, she has actually no less than three track records which include her very impressive Meadows record she worked hard for just this April 15.
Nellie Noodles indeed came into the staying scene only in late January. But to date, she already has several amazing records which include her Geelong record with the awesome time of 34.29s, middle distance records with 34.07s time and winning margin of 17 and with time of 37.20s and of course her Meadows record.
The Robert Britton-trained just showed what truly she can do and for what she showed, she could be considered really promising. And she could become even better in the tracks, just more awards to come for her.
Owner Helen Ivers was recently acknowledged for having bred former champions Texas Gold, Kobble Creek and even Tip Top Tears. And Nellie Noodles could also be as great as these greyhounds, naturally the owner expressed optimism in regards to this.
“This is her third track record as she also holds the 650 metres record at Shepparton in her one and only start at that track,” said Ivers. “It’s very hard to compare Nellie Noodles to my other top stayers, but her run home time is incredible, and not dissimilar to Texas Gold, who used to flash home in his races.”
Nellie Noodles is a Black bitch of Flying Penske and Classy Creek, whelped March of 2007. She is raced by Ivers and trained by Robert Britton. And she is just really a promising racer. She will still improve, will actually become even better in the tracks, thus just really more awards to come for her.
