It was a sunny Saturday when everything seems to be back on track at Border Park. The park’s first day since September 12 appeared to be a great one for all greyhound racing and betting enthusiasts.
Little Scout made it to win after running home for Lesley Green ahead of Dayseas Molly and Awesome Treasure in a pretty good time. The greyhound seemed to push through having the day off to a flying beginning.
Noculate came in the second with first appearing as winner of the race but just fallen down in the home straight and let Kooringa Saint to grab the top honors while Castle Queen mastered the podium.
The third heat of the maidens was the Race 3 and was won by Utter Chaos of Robert Peschke and in front of Dabert and Dufus Rob. The fourth seemed to belong to the fifth grade Blue Paws, Our Precious of Terry Joan that can be remembered displaying good performance just to win over Bility Diamond and Mr. Imagination. Then the fifth to Max Result for Des Gilroy, just ahead of Steal De Bullion and Woodsman.
The seventh is notable and it belonged to Yolee with an impressive track debut which brought about five lengths ahead Wicked Sky and Cagney. Oxley County, for Lee Wylie, came home in the eights beating Mocker and Blaney Lass. Race 9 belonged to Suzie Be Good for Jo Price, who raged home ahead of Mentalist and Addsun.
The next meet to take place at Border Park will be on Saturday. Well we can anticipate another greyhound to grace the park’s raceway and another event that will be a great one for all greyhound racing and betting enthusiasts. Just few more days to go before the big day – Saturday. It is the day to watch out for.
