Greyhound Racing SA to Pay Bigger Dividends

The Greyhound Racing SA, according to Chief Executive Officer Peter Ali, has been doing well financially and so will offer bigger Prize Money pool to greyhound owners and trainers.

The Greyhound Racing SA will pay bigger dividends, thus will actually increase its Prize Money pool for the races in South Australia.

A Board Meeting was held at Angle Park on February 4 and through this assembly the Greyhound Racing SA Board was able to discuss important matters on how to reward greyhound owners and trainers even more. The Greyhound Racing SA most likely believed that if not for these owners and trainers who have been so supportive of its races, the racing industry in South Australia won’t be as it is financially just like today.

The Greyhound Racing SA Board has agreed to allocate a total of $500,000. Half of the allocated amount, $250,000, will go into this financial year, thus taking the money levels for 09/10 to $4,250,000 which is actually 21.4% over the prize money allotted for 08/09. The remaining amount will go to into the 10/11 financial year which only shows the commitment of the Greyhound Racing SA to increase the prize money levels for the financial years to come.

It is definitely a good news to all greyhound owners and trainers, now they can benefit more from winning in the races of the Greyhound Racing SA. For sure, they are overwhelmed by this news. Thus, they will strive even more to perform their duties to their greyhound/s. They will commit even more patience, enthusiasm, and determination in dealing with their dog/s.

But as the greyhound owners and greyhounds do better, we should actually expect that the Greyhound Racing SA will also be better. It will be filled with more and more action as everyone involved improves.
