Elite Blue Size Won AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for April 2010

The New South Wales sprinter Elite Blue Size was also recently recognized for his greatness in the tracks just like the bitch Nellie Noodles. AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for April 2010 was actually given to him.

In April, the classy Elite Blue Size made it already three Group wins for the year to date. And his accomplishment at the final of the Maitland Cup just really helped him to.

Well, he was one of the greyhounds then really worth acknowledging. Yes, he made it three Group wins in April which actually include first his Maitland Cup victory, then his Group 1 National Derby success at the Gardens, and his Group 2 Gosford Cup win.

And if he did not suffer from a tail problem, he must have also made it at the Group 1 Easter Egg. But of course, his fitness was considered first before anything else.

The Reg Kay-trained speedster was indeed able to continue in style after being on the sidelines and not being at the Group 1 Easter Egg. He made it actually at the Maitland Cup and had a near-record of 24.94s. From box three, he actually came out quick to lead early and then eventually reach the end the fastest.

Elite Blue Size is a Blue dog of Elite State and Size ‘Em Up, whelped February of 2008. He is trained by Kay and raced by Julie Edmondso. He has won 17 out of his 22 starts and on three events only placed. And his earnings stand so far at $132,150.

No doubt, AGRA’s Greyhound of the Month for April 2010 should just be given to Elite Blue Size. Other Group 1 & 2 winners Cosmic Rumble, Iron Force, Latifi Jiam and Jarvis Bale to date have achieved certain things but the classy sprinter has more or less achieved more.
