Deborah Prest Found Guilty of Misconduct at Young Greyhound Meeting

Last July 5 just this year, name of Deborah Prest was dragged into a controversy at the Young Greyhound Racing Meeting. It was been said that Deborah Prest has primary involvement in a verbal incident, together with Craig McCorkindale. The verbal incident was said to be unacceptable and so was then subject for inquiry by NSW stewards.

Just today, NSW stewards have finalized an inquiry into an alleged verbal incident involving Deborah Prest and Craig McCorkindale stemming from the Young Greyhound Racing Meeting last July 5 of this year.

Resulting from the inquiry itself, Deborah Prest was charged with a breach of Rule 86(0) which implies that she misconducted basically by swearing at Craig McCorkindale in the betting area during the Young Greyhound Racing Meeting.

Deborah Prest did not deny anything and just pleaded guilty to the charge against her. Then on, after hearing submissions on penalty, she was fined two penalty units viz, $220 and advised of her rights of Appeal. Decision will of course be on her hands now with regards to her said rights.

Thus, this incident should be a lesson to all individuals in a meeting just like that of Young Greyhound Racing Meeting.
