It was not too late for Capetown Kid to get the long overdue win he has been up to. It was actually just the right time when he had such win in the Furniture City Gift final in Hobart. It was Thursday of last week when he did so.
From 14 starts, Capetown Kid was able to get seven minor placings and just because these placings, he became so up to getting a significant win. But he did not fail his fans of course as he proved to them he was strong for his rivals in Hobart when he won and got the long overdue victory he has been so after of.
Capetown Kid was able to make it through to the final because of the fourth in a heat behind Posh Emma that was the final favorite, the one that was anticipated to advance to home with ease.
The final favorite actually started well, jumping out from box two to get a lead. But the Bond-Capetown Star continued to overcome the rails and get an edge.
The two went through a serious, head-to-head battle but eventually, Capetown Kid dug deep to score even just under a length when Posh Emma seemed beatable. The greyhound was able to win in the race.
An achievement will actually never be too late for one. Just like for Capetown Kid and the long overdue win that he has been up to. Though the greyhound got as many as seven minor placings before he got such win, still it can be considered as not too late.
It takes right timing so one could actually get an achievement. Well, for Capetown Kid, he got such timing in the Furniture City Gift final in Hobart; thus he was able to obtain what he just really should.
