Fans of the Robert Britton-trained C’est La Vie were so happy at Sandown Park last Thursday night when their favorite actually won the Group 1 Hawkins Media Laurels Classic final of 515m. The greyhound seemed to have made it a race of one. C’est La Vie just dominated the event and the other young female greyhounds were not just able to make it against the said greyhound.
The fans seemed so satisfied with their favorite showing then customary early speed from own box and after actually making own way to a memorable win. The fans seemed so contented with another accomplishment of their bet.
But of course the other racers have also tried seriously to win the big event. In fact one of the other racers hardly struggled for the top position as they all passed a post. However, it was C’est La Vie that just made it to win the much chased position.
And because of doing well C’est La Vie joined the elite honor roll that includes the likes of Hail A Harley, Dance Portrait and Paua To Burn. Success of the Robert Britton-trained greyhound most likely was very significant to all of the fans.
Greyhound racing enthusiasts will now have to expect the Laurels to actually take place in December after some changes to the AGRA national calendar were made. It will take place along with The Silver Chief series at The Meadows.
